Hey guys, I am so excited about this purchase. It is my first official Nars purchase ever, and I couldn't have been more excited about what was within this little matte black box.
I have been a MAC girl since my late teens, and have never used anything other than their studio fix fluid foundation. I always had a fresh bottle on deck when I was running low, but not this time. I ran out of foundation. No back up in sight, so I put on my shopping shoes, grabbed baby Ash(Bash) and trucked my tail down to the nearest mall. Instead of high tailing it to MAC, I decided that I wanted to look at some other foundations, so I journeyed into my second fave makeup store…Sephora. 

There it was the "new Nars foundation", the "mother" of foundations, well at least for the moment, (as you know these makeup must-haves change like the wind). When I saw the $48 price tag, I had a heart palpitation and gasped. So, before I just handed over 50 bucks, I grabbed a sample and went home to try it out.

NARS All-day Luminous Weightless Foundation

Shade | Cadiz Med/Dark 3

This 1 Fl. oz. velvet matte liquid foundation is fragrance and oil-free which, is great for oily and combination skin, and comes with a pump dispenser. The pump dispenser is handy because the liquid is very thin compared to other liquid foundations. I purchased the shade Cadiz, but they offer 19 other shades that range from very fair to deep. It also boasts to offer medium to full coverage with a very small amount of product that last up to 16 hours.

Well let me tell you, I love it! I found it to be easy to work with and blend using my blending sponge. It is definitely full coverage without the cake. I do not feel like I have anything on my face. It is absolutely wonderful at covering those annoying blemishes that will not go away. It does offer better coverage than my studio fix, and I do not get that yellow-orange undertone as I do with MAC (I'm NC45). It does last all day, but I have oily skin, so I definitely have to blot throughout the evening.

The only con I could find with this was the price point, but the pros definitely outweighed the con and that is when I realized that I had to get my hands on my very own bottle of this all day weightless foundation. Have you guys tried it? Do you like it? Until next time tot ziens.
